SCLA's Flexible Participation Options for 2024-2025
The Southern California Lacrosse Association (SCLA) is excited to announce our enhanced participation model for the upcoming season, designed to accommodate teams with varying needs and constraints. We understand that one size doesn't fit all, which is why we're offering two distinct tracks for team participation.
League Track: Full Season Experience
Our traditional league track includes:
- 8 regular season games
- Playoff eligibility
- AllStar game participation
- Structured competition schedule
- Full integration into the SCLA community
Non-League Track: Flexibility First
Our new non-league track offers:
- Official SCLA registration and recognition
- Freedom to arrange games with both league and non-league teams
- Reduced travel commitments
- Flexibility for teams with distance constraints
- SCLA affiliation while meeting local needs
Why Two Tracks?
We developed this system after listening to our community. While many teams excel in our traditional structure, others need more flexibility due to travel distances, development stages, or other circumstances.
